RIP James Bond
Sadly, today we lost Roger Moore. So, in his honor we are taking a look at some of the coolest technology he had as 007 over the years. Some people, like the folks over at Wired, argue that he had the coolest tech. From wrist dart guns to fake nipples, Roger had quite the gamut of gadgets. (Wired)
Starting a business? Read this
Starting a business isn’t easy whatsoever. I’m not even talking about the fact you need a good idea, capital, and quality business plan to ever get off the ground. I am talking about all the red tape and paperwork you are magically supposed to know how to fill out and file. Seriously, this is the biggest headache for any startup. Honestly, I would rather run 10 break even analyses before I figure out where to file articles of formation. Luckily, we found a site that tells you exactly what you need to start a business in every state. Unfortunately, you still have to write your own operating agreement. (The Hartford)
Digital Detox: Is it for you?
Be honest with yourself, how many times do you check your email a day? Your texts? Are you like me and need a Twitter fix every hour? The fact of the matter is that we all could probably do away with some of these distractions to be more productive. I definitely think I’ll do a detox of my own. Now, if someone could explain to my mom that just because you don’t answer, doesn’t mean to call three more times in rapid succession. (Fast Company)
Being Rich – Just a Mental Trick Away
While most of us will most likely never be Jordan Belfort throwing “fun coupons” at an FBI agent rich, I think most of us would like to be rich in a relative financially stable sense. To do this, you need to get your mind right. These tips suggest that maybe you just aren’t thinking about money correctly. I will admit, some of them were so simple I’m a little embarrassed I didn’t already think of it. (Money)
